Krishna University Vice-Chancellor Kuna Ramjee said on Saturday that emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and machine learning will continue to create new career opportunities for the youth despite temporary problems in the software industry.
Mr Ramjee was the chief guest at the silver jubilee celebrations of Tarang held at Avanthi’s St Theresa Engineering College at Garividi in Vizianagaram district. Chairman of Avanthi Group Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao also attended the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ramjee said that mechanical engineering colleges must take special care to improve the skills of students in line with the rapid changes taking place in the IT sector.
JNTU-GV Director (Research and Development) G. Swami Naidu, Deputy Vice President Tube Investments of India M. Suryanarayana Reddy and others were present.
