As temperatures soar in Telangana, Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha has directed officials to provide immediate treatment to heatstroke victims and strengthen summer preparedness in all government hospitals.
At a review meeting in Hyderabad on Wednesday, the minister directed the health department to set up specialized teams for rapid response to heat stroke cases in every hospital. He emphasized that trained personnel and essential medications, including oral rehydration salts, must be readily available to start treatment without delay.
