In a direct nod to the viral Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) movement, Elvish Yadav has launched his own satirical political faction: the Khargosh Janta Party (KJP).

Elvish Yadav’s Khargosh Janta Party

On Wednesday (June 10) morning, Elvish announced his fictitious political front on X using an AI-generated Khargosh Janta Party poster that read “Saare Bhaii Jantar Mantar poch jao. Gajar free for everyone.”

He posted a satirical poster which shows himself between rabbits and carrots with parody slogans like “Gajar hamara haq hai” and “Tez dimag, lambe kaan, sabka vikas, gajar ke saath”.

He also launched a special page for his party and expanded the parody campaign online.

In a separate post, Elvish shared his party’s manifesto along with another poster of himself as the founder. The poster described the KJP as “A new voice. A new movement” and made promises such as support for the middle class, freedom of speech and nationalism.

“Khargosh Janta Party (KJP). Movement for: Freedom of Speech, Middle Class Empowerment, National Pride. Founder: Prime Minister Elvish Yadav,” KJP wrote.

How did Khargosh Janta Party (KJP) come into existence?

Later on Tuesday, Elvish slammed the Abhijeet Dipke-led Cockroach Janta Party for “zero transparency and crumbs” for its supporters.

“Janta cockroach party manifesto • Crumbs free for all • Cabinet meeting behind the fridge • Zero transparency (hates light),” X wrote in the post.

Soon after, CJP supporters flooded his comments section defending the student movement and calling him out for his “disgusting” remark.

However, Elvish brushed off the criticism with satire, saying: “I’m not arguing with Cockroach Janta Party members anymore. Pest control works better than debates.”

Hours before launching his party on Wednesday morning, Yadav shared a video defending his post and challenging his criticism from CJP supporters.

“According to your manifesto it should be a democracy, that’s why I’m saying the same thing. Just kidding. It’s my right. I’m your biggest supporter,” he said.

How has Khargosh Janta Party been received by netizens?

Elvish Yadav’s comment section was flooded with carrot and rabbit memes, while some mocked rival ‘CJP’ as ‘cockroaches’, indicating Elvish’s strong engagement among Indian social media users who enjoy his roast.

“I’m in it because why not all for laughs and gags. And bunnies are cute,” said the user.

Another user said, “That alone will attract a bigger crowd than Congress. CJP is nothing ahead of him, the system belongs to bhai.”

“Please work to OPEN MORE schools and colleges. And send your founder to it,” another user said mockingly.

“Brother, your party will fail; the reason is because your election symbol is a rabbit. You may not know that rabbits are also a species that multiplies quickly, just like the clocks of a certain religion,” the user said.

“How shameful to mock the gen-z movement,” the user said.
