
The Supreme Court on Wednesday 6 August, while heard the Snake Venom case, granted a stay in court proceedings against YouTuber Elvish Yadav.
The bench containing justices MM Sundresh and Joylyia Bagchi heard the appeal filed by Yadav against the command of the High Court in Allahabad, which in May this year rejected his request. The Top Court issued a notice to UTTAR Pradesh and the complainant to Gaurav Gupt on Yadav’s petition that attacked criminal proceedings against him under the Act on Wild Life (Protection) and the Act on Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (NDP).
No snakes, narcotic substances were found from “known influence”: advisor
The Yadav Council explained in the Supreme Court that there were no snakes, narcotic or psychotropic substances from him, except that there was no causal connection between the applicant and the fellow citizen.
The advisor pointed out that the informant was no longer an officer of the good life conditions of animals, but registered the first information report (companies), which presented himself as one, and added the involvement of the “known influence”, his involvement in the companies received “great media attention”.
