
The Eluru Rural Police conducted a cordon and search operation at Indiramma Colony in Palagudem and seized 12 two-wheelers and a car that did not have valid documents.
Police teams led by trainee IPS officer Jaya Sharma, Eluru deputy superintendent of police (DSP) D. Sravan Kumar and other officers searched houses in the colony since Sunday morning. They interrogated the suspects and appealed to the residents to alert the nearby police if they notice any suspicious movement of strangers or any anti-social elements.
Ms. Jaya Sharma appealed to the residents to cooperate with the police in the fight against drugs, ganja and crime.
