The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, is well known as the owner of Tesla, an electric car manufacturer and SpaceX, his private space company. He also took over the Platform of Social Media Twitter and renamed it X. Young Game Developer
At the age of only 12 years at the beginning of the 80s. Musk created a video game called Blastar. Using the coding skills he learned from the age of nine, Musk designed a game where players used their keyboard to shoot alien spacecraft.
In 1984, the game was sold to PC and Office Technology Magazine for $ 500 (371 GBP) and appeared in their December issue.

The first business success
Musk’s talent for business was soon proved. In 1995, at the age of 24, he and his brother Kimbal founded his first ZIP2 company, which developed an online urban guide for newspapers. Business started with only $ 28,000 (20,000 GBP), but in 1999 it was sold for nearly $ 300 million ($ 222 million).
Before sale, Musk and his brother were almost broken and slept on their office floor – something Muskova later repeated in Tesla’s first days. Before Twitter became X, Musk founded x.com, online banking and financial company. The platform merged in 2000 with the confity co -founded by Peter Thiel and Max Levchin, and later renamed PayPal.
Musk worked as CEO of PayPal, but was excluded after disputes over the company management. Ebay bought PayPal in 2002 for $ 1.5 billion (1.4 billion GBP). In 2017 eBay sold the domain x.com back Musk.

Inspiration for Iron Man
Muska’s life was inspired by Hollywood. Iron Man, Mark Fergus, said Tony Stark’s character was partially based on Muska, next to Donald Trump and Apple Steve Jobs.
“Musk took the brilliance of jobs with showmanship of Trump. It was the only one who had a fun factor and celebrity vibration and real business,” said Fergus New York Magazine.
Musk even performed in Iron Man 2 in 2010.
Not the founder of Tesla
Despite the general faith, Musk did not start Tesla. The company was founded in 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Musk was the first investor and in 2008 he became the fourth CEO of Tesla, shortly after the launch of the first Tesla Roadster.

Building an “Everything App” app
