Tesla CEO Elon Musk and podcast host Joe Rogan discussed billionaire Jeff Bezos’ figure, joking that he might be “partly on some testosterone injections.” The 61-year-old founder of Amazon was emaciated when he launched the e-commerce platform in 1994. Almost three decades later, the billionaire looks impressively muscular.
“The 61-year-old is definitely doing some testosterone,” Rogan, 58, claimed on his podcast Friday. “Looks like he’s stuffed — fast,” Rogan added suggestively, Musk laughing and repeating the word.
Musk, 54, noted that Bezos “went from being a geek with a pencil neck to looking like The Rock.”
“Like a little miniature alpha guy,” Rogan added.
“It’s like his neck is bigger than his head,” Musk continued. “But in his earlier pictures, his neck is like a noodle… and his voice has dropped about two octaves.
Rogan said he approves of the transformation.
“I support that activity. I’m happy to see him go in that direction,” a UFC announcer noted, and Musk agreed.
Bezos’ physical transformation is not new – the billionaire first drew attention to himself for his god in 2017.
Despite Rogan and Musk’s comments, Bezos has never acknowledged speculation that human growth hormone (HGH) or testosterone injections played a role in his fitness journey. In 2021, a source “with direct knowledge” told TMZ that the claims were false.
Bezos has not yet responded to Musk and Rogan’s remarks.
Wife Lauren Sanchez Reveals Jeff Bezos’ Lifestyle
According to a 2023 Business Insider report, Bezos’ body and lifestyle have undergone a major overhaul in recent years. Earlier that year, his wife Lauren Sanchez told the Wall Street Journal that Bezos “stole” her trainer Wes Okerson, who has also trained stars like Tom Cruise and Gerard Butler. Sanchez said Bezos was “extremely dedicated” to his training.
The billionaire joked about his fitness routine, once saying in response to a tweet that he had “worked hard on my butt”. His diet also evolved—he ate a pack of Pillsbury crackers and butter once every morning until his then-wife, MacKenzie Scott, urged him to read nutrition labels. “Honestly, that wasn’t even a concept for me — that there’s something in food,” Bezos said. “I never read a nutrition label in my life; I ate what I liked.”
Despite the changes, Bezos still enjoyed making pancakes every Sunday. Sanchez told the Journal that he pulls out the Betty Crocker cookbook every time, teasing him, “You’re the smartest man alive; why can’t you memorize it yet?”
In addition to his personal health and fitness routine, Bezos has reportedly invested in anti-aging research company Altos Labs.
