The headmistress of the Panchayat Union elementary school in Nanasamudram Kudiyiruppu in the Pudukkottai district was suspended on Monday after shared a video of three students who cleaned the school toilet a few days ago. The event was adopted on the basis of investigation by the Ministry of Education on the basis of the instructions of the district collector.
The video showed one cleaning of students with a broom, while the other student bear water in the bucket and poured it in. The third student can see how they load water in the bucket.
On Saturday, the main educational officer, Pudukkottai and Officer of the Araranhangi Income Division visited the school to conduct the investigation. District educational officer (elementary), Ararancengi, accompanied by block educational official Arimalm, inspected the school on Monday morning and conducted detailed questions with students and their parents, teacher, chef, hygienic worker and school management committee. The school has just over 20 students.
The investigation took more than two hours in the school premises and the report was submitted to the main educational official to initiate the necessary measures. The sources said that the headteacher of the Kala Elementary School was placed under the suspension to allow an incident at a school that has a temporary sanitary worker, said sources.
