The ballot paper is stronger than the shot, said M. Venkaiah Naida, former vice president of India, while on Saturday he addressed a group of intellectuals at the “One Nation-One Volletion” in Tirupati. Jamili’s election support recommended voters to check the character, caliber, capacity and behavior of leaders, not their caste, community, cash and criminal background.
The former vice -chairman said, “The leaders must have patience, knowledge and power to illuminate people to overthrow the government. Jumping from one political party to another is harmful to democracy and also for the good people.
“Several large leaders, including Prime Minister and main ministers, have been defeated in democracy. Those who believe in violence can never get to power. Today, the center and states must work.
“Without resorting to violence, politicians should discuss, discuss and decide. If someone said that the election elections Jamili would benefit the national parties themselves, they question voters ‘wisdom. I urge political parties not to underestimate voters’ intelligence.
According to data, the number of voters during the current elections in 1999 increased by 11.5 % in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
