Election Commission of India (ECI) said on Saturday (April 25, 2026) that the post-poll verification of Form 17A and related election documents was completed smoothly in Tamil Nadu, which went to polls on April 23, and West Bengal, where the 1st phase of voting ended on the same day.
The verification exercise was conducted on April 24 in all 152 assembly constituencies in West Bengal and 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu in the presence of general observers and candidates or their representatives.
