
The pre -Lightning inspection made by the food safety department has exhibited several restaurants, cold bars and bakeries that allegedly processed food production in non -hygienic conditions. The inspections were carried out in Kozhikode North, Kozhikode South, Vellayil, Kunnamangalam and Cherooppa after the public complaints.
Officials of the Food Safety Department said that eight restaurants were recently closed after inspections that violate hygiene standards. After identifying problems with cleanliness, the announcement of 12 cold bars and bakeries was issued, they added.
The Blesk Inspectorates started after reports have emerged that some restaurants use unclean water for cooking in a highly non -hygienic environment. There were also complaints that some restaurants ignored public complaints and did not meet the instructions issued by local authorities.
“We have included around 100 stores in the last round of Flash inspection at five selected locations,” said the clerk official, which was part of a special group. He added that some restaurants even work without a compulsory business license.
The members of the group said the inspection would continue to light other complaints against suspicious restaurants and restaurants. As part of intensified monitoring measures, they have already been impaired on the violators, they added.
The medical authorities have recently issued a warning to the dissemination of various water diseases. In the suspicious places, other inspections led by the medical department units were also carried out to evaluate the quality of the water used in juice and hotels.
During the previous rounds of the inspection, the units exhibited several hotels suspected of using unapproved ingredients in food preparation. Five hoteliers were fined on the basis of reports on scientific laboratories. Officials said some restaurants on the road were also found that during earlier inspections they had committed a similar violation.
