
The female police Chamarajanagar reserved eight people in connection with the marriage of children who took place in the village of Chamarajanagar Taluk.
After the complaint for the children’s line for the children’s line 1098 (DCPU) of the District Child (DCPU) of the child’s marriage between a 15 -year -old girl and a 27 -year -old man, the officials visited the girl’s house and confirmed that the marriage really occurred.
Pursuant to Section 9 (1) and 11, according to the 2006 Marriage Act, the case was booked against the groom, his father, mother, father and mother of a smaller girl, two relatives of a smaller girl and a priest who made the marriage.
According to the statement, the case was registered on the basis of a complaint of the Coordinator of the DCP line.
In his statement, the Child Protection Officer pointed out that the marriage of children was a serious obstacle to national development and was the duty of every citizen to prevent it.
“The child’s marriage was a crime under the law. In such cases, parents, relatives, priests and anyone who helps or participates in marriage is considered wine and can be prosecuted,” he said, adding to two years in prison and a fine of up to 1 lakh.
