Muslims around the world are preparing for the second most interesting Islam festival: Eid-AL-ADha, also known as Eid al-Zuha or Bakrid. The festival, also known as the holiday of the victim or Eid al-Bakr, will be celebrated in Saudi Arabia the day before the start of celebrations in India.
According to the Islamic calendar, the festival is falling on the 10th day of Dhul Hijjah, the twelfth and last month of the lunar calendar.
In Saudi Arabia this year Arafat will be observed on Thursday, June 5, the day before Eid. Arafat Day, or Yaum Al-Arafah, indicates the day of Dhul Hijjah and is considered the most sacred day in the Islamic calendar.
