
Power Infrastructure is increasing to satisfy the growing demand for power, as it is estimated that the top demand will affect 24,215 MW by 2030 in Telangana, said Major Minister Malla Bhatti Vikramarka.

He noted that the state recorded a high high demand for electricity in 2024, when the demand for electricity reached 16,877 MW and the annual maximum reached 17,162 MW.
He attributed this to the government to the continuous development of the government and said that a five -year energy action plan was created to satisfy this growing demand. As part of the action plan, new electricity distribution systems are set up and the transmission network is strengthened with a futuristic perspective.
He said that green energy plants with a cumulative capacity of 20,000 MW will be set up by 2030 as part of the Tellangana Clean and Green Energy policy.
In an effort to ambitious renewable energy objectives, plans to set up a solar power plant are 1,000 MW through self -help groups within the Indira Mahail Shakti program. In the first phase, the 64 MW (2MW solar power plants in each district) will soon be a functional pilot project.
On the district development initiatives Mr. Vikramarka said that the plan is in the reward for the development of Lanowa in Khammam Fort and other tourist facilities with an expenditure of 29 GBP Crore. In addition, the Crore 2.5 GBP was sanctioned for development and accommodation facilities in the historic Buddhist Mahastupa in Nelkondapalli, he announced.
