Main Minister Siddaramaiah promised on Tuesday that efforts were made to safely bring Kannadigas stuck in the war areas of Israel and Iran.
He also said that the government carefully monitors the situation and constantly touches the disabled. “I talked to Kannadigs stuck in the war regions. I also talked to our spokesman for Congress Nataraj Gowda,” Siddaramaiaha told reporters.
The 18-member B-PAC group is also stuck in Tel Aviv, which includes the leaders of various political parties because the flights are grounded.
“The airports are currently closed, but people are properly taking care of people,” said the main minister.
He said that the state government coordinated the central authorities and will take the necessary measures to facilitate the safe return of those who have stuck as soon as the situation increases. “The airport is likely to reopen tomorrow or the day after it happens, we will try to bring them back first,” he said.
Mr. Siddarahaiaha said that officials are in standby regime to coordinate travel and ensure that the return of the stuck individuals is processed smoothly and with urgency.
