The government of the left democratic front (LDF) proceeds forward with a clear vision to transform the state into a scientific society for a new age, said R. Binda, Minister of Higher Education and Social Justice. She spoke after the “PARRAM skill”, a one -day workshop that took place on the Government Engineering College, Thrissur, as part of the Vijnana Ceram campaign.
There is an effort to bridge the difference between skills between education and employment, the Minister said. In all university institutions offering four -year study programs, cells and business cells were activated. “Vijnana Keralam works as a catalyst for strengthening these development cells and joining academic learning with employability,” Dr. Bindu.
She stressed that various initiatives within the Ministry of Higher Education, including those associated with another ASAP program (ASAP) and other government agencies, have already helped create job opportunities for students. “Today, our goal is not only to create job seekers, but to the creator of jobs. The government is firmly behind all efforts to strengthen skills, innovation and business,” she said.
Campus
The aim of the skills organized in the Vijnana Keralam People’s Campaign campaign is to share proven training practices between university institutions and to help universities to identify the emerging jobs through improving cooperation skills. The initiative is also trying to strengthen the location of the campus by spanning the gap in the skills between the academic community and the industry.
District President Panchayat vs Prince chaired the inauguration session. Thomas Isaac, an advisor to Vijnana Keralam and former Minister of Finance, delivered the main speech. The workshop was attended by more than 500 placement officials, coordinators of the National Services program and representatives of students from university institutions across Kerala.
