
The collector of the district of Ernakulam NSK UMESH on Saturday (August 2) distributed support for education and rehabilitation 42 students of the English Secondary School of Mount Tabor in Mepadi, whose education was seriously influenced by destructive landslides in Wayanad.
Mr Umesh, who was appointed director of general education, handed over the check 10 lakh s. Salomi, the school manager, as the first phase of educational assistance to students. The program was launched by the CBSE Keral Council as part of the “Snehapoorvam Project-Wayanad Relief” initiative, according to here published here.
Mr. Umesh said that people around the state have always stood up to help those who were affected by natural calamities and other disasters.
