
Hosanagara Tahsildar released on Monday the announcement of the Kantara: The Legend – Part 1 with regard to the news of the media about the disaster during the filming of the film on the Mani Dam’s Standing Waters in Hosanagara Taluk.
Tahsildar asked the production team to submit details of the incident along with all relevant records within three days. The officer warned the production team to recommend that older officers cancel the permission to record the film on the spot if they did not respond at the specified time.
The part of the ensemble, which was used to shoot a film in stagnant waters, collapsed during heavy rains 14 June. There were reports that many people, including Rishab Shetty, the director of the film, were appropriate when the incident occurred. But the production manager told reporters on Sunday that a set of ship located as a background collapsed because of the wind and no one was injured in the incident.
The announcement was issued according to the instructions of the Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde.
