The Directorate for enforcement on Thursday (April 17, 2025) visited the house here to make a potential search for violations of foreign exchange rules after claiming to have brought 50 crore dogs.
However, the claim was found to be false.
The sources said that federal agency officials found that a man “had no means” to buy such a costly dog and such messages were “just created” for the possible involvement of social media.
According to reports, the man claimed that he had brought the “most expensive” dog “in the world”-the breeding of the Caucasian Shepherd and the Wolf. The assertion gained importance on the social media and invited Ed’s glare.
Federal probe agencies who discuss this information about Open-source have achieved their home to verify the claims just to find out they are false.
The dog, whose pictures were also widely distributed on the social media, was owned by his neighbor and was not worth “nor Lakh (from rupees)”, they said.
The agency did not initiate any probe under the Foreign Forendum Act (FEMA), the sources said.
