Directorate for recovery (ED) issued a summons to a former member of the Parliament of DK Suresh in connection with the case of cheating gold cheating Aishwarya Gowd.
Aishwarya is reportedly cheated on more jewelers in a state of more than 8 crore worth the gold she took on the loan, allegedly after she falsely claimed to be Mr. Suresh’s sister. In his complaint, one of the jewelers who were cheated claimed that when she demanded money for the gold she gave Aishwaryi, an actor who identified himself as a dharma called her to be Mr. Suresh. When cheating came to light in 2024, Mr. Suresh filed a complaint with the police commissioner Bengalur and stressed that his name was abused by fraudsters.
“You call me absurd”
On Tuesday, Mr. Suresh told Mediaperons that he had received a summons that appeared in front of the agency on Thursday, but told Ed officials that he would do so on June 23 because of a pre -planned program on Thursday. “In this case, the defendants are not related to me. She was falsely claiming to be my sister. It is true that I visited two events held by them because she was a voter in my constituency, and I had no other relationship.”
His older brother and representative of the main Minister DK Shivakumar said that several people who were cheated on Aishwarya abused the name of Mr. Suresh had met him earlier. “My brother’s name was abused; he is a victim and also filed a police complaint.
In judicial custody
In April 2025, ED took the probe into the case of cheating, attacked the spaces associated with Aishwarya and the Congress of Vinay Kulkarni for his alleged connection with the accused. Ed arrested Aishwarya and she’s in judicial custody.
