The team led by six officials of the Directorate for Part of State (ED) performed on Wednesday searching for the Satish Saish Saish Saimes in Sadashivgad near Karwar.
The ED team arrived early in the morning and the search continued until late night.
At the time of the raid, Mr. Sail was not at home and his family members cooperated with the search, the sources said.
The Special Court recently condemned Mr. Sail for the MLO and deputies in the case of the export of Belekei Ilegal Iron Ore, but the High Court has issued a stay on conviction and is now outside prison.
