The Directorate for Enforcement of Law (ED) searched the premises associated with the Ballari Congress, E. Tukaram and three MLAs in connection with the alleged departure of Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki scheduled by Development Corporation in 2024.
The spaces associated with Mr. Tukaram and Nara Bharath Reddy, Mla for Ballari and JN Ganesh, MLA for Kampli, were searched by separate ED teams.
Mr. Tukaram and his wife E. Annapurna, Mla for Sandur, were interviewed ED officials for several hours. They also searched the residence of Govardhan Reddy, close to Ballari’s helper and former Minister B. Nagendra.
Ed also arrived in the Mile’s residence, NT Srinivas, in Zarasimhagiri in Kudligi Taluk. At that time, however, only the mother of the little was present and was gone.
The raids are associated with the alleged departure of funds from Valmiki Corporation, of which it is assumed that 20.19 GBP was used in Ballari in 2024 in Ballari.
In October 2024, in this case, she filed a fee with Mr. Nagendra, as charged with 1, Ed said that Crore 89.62 GBP was diverted from the company to various accounts.
The fee certificate also claimed that Crore was used by 20.19 GBP to support the candidate for the LoBha 2012 elections from Ballari Constituration. Much of this money was used to tap the alcohol to be distributed during the elections, ED sources said.
Ed reportedly received a note from Mr. Nagendry’s assistant Vijay Kumara Gowd, who allegedly describes the expenses and division of Lok Sabha, 2024, in the Ballari election district. Ed claimed that Mr. Gowda had handled Mr. Nagendra’s cash. Three Mla attacked on Wednesday, also in the note, the sources claimed.
“Targeting opposition”
Mallikarjun Kharge, who responded to the air raids, the president of the congress and the leader of the opposition in Rajya Sabha, accused the Union’s government of abuse of investigative agencies to focus on opposition.

“They (BJP) continue to arms agencies to attack opposition leaders from mere political hatred … Despite these ominous attempts, they cannot abuse power led by the central government to break the unity of the congress party or weaken democracy,” he said in position X.
