The Directorate for Enforcement of Law (ED) has a projected real estate of 27.19 GBP Crore in connection with the fraud of recruitment of West Bengal Central School Service (SSC), while the total value of assets connected in the case of 636.88 GBP Crore.
“The Directorate for Recruitment (ED), Kolkata Zonal Office has a temporarily connected movable and impossible characteristics of 27.19 GBP crore in West Bengal Central SSC (C&D Group) Recruitment West Begal Limited Limited Limited Limited Limited Limited Bamanandanga Team Estect Private Limited, ”said Ed in the issue of released evening on June 24th.
The Central Agency is investigating the illegal appointment of Group C and D employees and financial discrepancies in what she referred to as “unjust” recruitment of teachers and not. The probe examines the appointment allegedly made in a criminal plot of several individuals.
Previously, ED has attached assets worth 219.91 GBP Crore in the same case associated with the SSC 2016 panel for Group C and D.
Prasna Kumar Roy and his collaborator Chandan Mondal – allegedly a key agent in the collection of money and candidates – are currently in judicial custody.
“In the related case of fraudulent fraud of teacher assistant (SSC asst. Teachers 9 to 12.) Ed has previously attached real estate worth 238.78 Crore. In another case, fraud for starting primary teachers in West Bengál, Ed has already joined/confiscated in 151 Crore.
The alleged fraud came to light in July 2022 after the arrest of the former state Minister of Education Party Chatterjee and his assistant Arpity Mukherjee. Ed renewed cash, jewelry and real estate worth 103.10 GBP Crore associated with the duo.
Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of several individuals, including officials of the State Educational Department, political personalities associated with the ruling Congress of Trinamool and mediators.
Protests continue
Protests across Calcutta broke out on Wednesday. The organization of democratic students of all India (AIDSO), connected with the Indian Socialist Unity Center (SUCI), organized a demonstration outside the district inspector of the Kasba School of Schools, where the protesters clashed with the police staff. The group held the State Government responsible for the education system of the “break -up”.
In addition to the Office of the Commission for School Services West Bengal, Group C and D, who do not non -non -non -managed, they also organized a protest and demanded the publication of separate lists of “tainted” and “unsuccessful” denominators.
“No accusations of corruption have been proven against us. The government should say that in court and accept their mistake and restore our work with the respect and dignity we deserve. We have not received any salary in the last three months. How do we survive?” Sujay Sardar, one of the leaders of the protest, said Hindu.
Sardar added that the group of 10 protest representatives entered the SSC office on Wednesday (June 25, 2025) in the evening to meet the chairman of the SSC. The next procedure would be determined on the basis of the result of this meeting, he said.
After a meeting with the chairman of the SSC, one of the protesters of employees who are not teachers said that no specific assurance was provided.
“They argued that they had submitted a list of default and unsuccessful unclean employees to the government, but we have not yet been made available to the public,” Amit Mondal told after the meeting.
