
Ministers of Ponnam Prabhakar and Komatiredy Venkat Reddy at a meeting to put the foundation stone on Saturday for the most modern automated test station (ATS) in dandampanally in the Nalgond district.
Minister of Transport Ponnam Prabhakar said that the issue of driving licenses based on AI is on the anvil and on the cards is the establishment of training centers for management and parks for transport awareness.
“We do not only provide licenses, but we only ensure trained, the drivers will receive them. The licenses are canceled in repeated accidents,” he said after laying the cornerstone for the most modern automated test station (ATS) in the Dandampanal district in Nalgond.
In a large step towards the modernization of the state transport sector and improving road safety, the Ministers of Komatiredy Venkat Reddy and Ponnam Prabhakar launched devices to be built at the price of the CRORE 8 GBP and it will be the second ATS Telangana.
The event was attended by Mlas Bhattula Lakshma Reddy and Vemula Veeresham, MP Raghuver Reddy, MLC Shankar Nayak and District Collector ILA Tripathi.
Mr. Prabhakar said that accidents are growing due to poor condition of the vehicle, ignorance of road rules and lack of awareness. The aim of these automated stations is to eliminate human interference and corruption, he said.
He announced that there were 17 ATSS, each at the price of CRORE 8 GBP. “These stations will perform brake tests, inspections of suspension, emission tests and are completely automated and based on the camera, with the results recorded to the Vahan portal,” he explained.
Mr. Prabhakar also emphasized the scrap policy of new vehicles, according to which vehicles older than 15 years will be gradually eliminated to reduce pollution and increase road safety. “This policy has already been reflected in the TELANGANA vehicle register. Now there will be data on fitness, emissions and compliance with real -time regulations,” he added.
On this occasion, Mr. Venkat Reddy described the initiative as a key step towards road safety and infrastructure development. He said that Narketpally, who hosted the first depot during the Nizam era, currently has 60 buses and needs another 20. He also appealed to Mr. Prabhakar to sanction the new bus warehouse in Nalgond.
He also noted that the introduction of free bus travel for women led to an increase in the use of public transport. “Since the establishment of the Congress Government, women have been used in the value of free travel.
