
On Wednesday (local time), the Minister of External Affairs met Jaishankar with FBI director Kash Patel in Washington DC. The Minister expressed recognition for cooperation between India and the US in the fight against organized crime, drug trafficking and terrorism.
“I appreciate our strong cooperation in the fight against organized crime, drug trafficking and terrorism,” wrote Jaishankar in a post for X, who later re -published Patel.
Previously, Jaishankar said at a meeting with the US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard that they had discussed the global situation and bilateral cooperation.
“We will be pleased to meet us with Tulsi Gabbard Days in Washington, DC this afternoon. A good exchange of the global situation and our two -sided cooperation,” Jaishankar said on X.
Meeting an American Secretary of Energy
On Tuesday (local time), Jaishankar met with US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright in Washington, DC to take on the ongoing energy transformation in India and discuss the opportunities for a deeper energy partnership between the two nations.
In a post shared on X, Jaishankar said: “A useful interview with the American Secretary Wright in Washington tonight. He spoke about the transformation of energy taking place in India. And occasions for a deeper energy partnership in India.”
The Minister of the External Affairs, which visits the US, also met the Minister of Defense Pete HegSeth. Both discussed the development of a defense partnership between two nations, building on growing convergence of interests, abilities and responsibility.
Jaishankar is on an official US visit at the invitation of US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio. During the visit he attended a meeting of Foreign Ministers Quad (QFMM).
“I have just finished a very productive meeting of four foreign foreign ministers in Washington DC. He discussed how Quad focused more and impact on current occasions and challenges. Today’s Assembly will strengthen strategic stability in Indo-Pacific and maintain it free and open,” he said in X.

Jaishankar met with the US State Secretary Marco Rubium on the secondary round of the meeting of four foreign foreign ministers (QFFM) in Washington and discussed the bilateral partnership between the two countries in the field of security, critical technologies, interconnection, energy and mobility.
