Officers of the Elite Anti-Narcotics Law Enforcement Group (EAGLE) along with the NTR mandate police conducted searches at houses on the outskirts of Vijayawada on Sunday as part of Operation Trishul.

Teams led by EAGLE Superintendent of Police G. Swaroopa Rani and Reserve Inspector Nagarjuna, Ajitsingh Nagar CI Chandrashekar and woman SI S. Durga Bhavani searched houses in VAMBAY Colony and Excel Plant area of ​​Vijayawada.

Police screened the suspects using drug testing kits and warned against dealing or consuming ganja and other drugs.

Sub-inspectors Sriram Murthy and Kurma Naidu appealed to the residents to alert the EAGLE police by dialing 1972 if they spot any anti-social activities in the locality.
