The North City Corporation will organize e-khata melas in large residential apartment complexes in its jurisdiction provided at least 100 complete applications with required documents are submitted, Pommala Commissioner Sunil Kumar said on Saturday.
In a meeting with the representatives of these complexes in Yelahance, the Commissioner discussed the issues related to the issuance of e-Khat. He said that based on the demands raised by the representatives of the flats, the representatives of the housing cooperatives in all sub-sections of the territory of the city district should coordinate with the owners to prepare at least 100 applications along with the necessary documents.
Once the applications are ready, the date after which the e-khata melas will be conducted and the khatas will be issued will be finalized in consultation with the corporation officials, Mr. Kumar said.
Documents required for issuing e-khata include sale deed, current property tax payment receipt, Bescom electricity meter invoice, previous khata document showing ownership of the property, GPS photograph of the house and Aadhaar card.
