Mr Shivakumar also noted that the government plans to implement several social care programs that will benefit between 10,000 and 15,000 people. In one such scheme, 3,700 pushcarts will soon be distributed.

Mr Shivakumar revealed that since the opening of the program Clean Bengalur, 10,354 complaints about waste disposal have been received in public spaces, allowing citizens to report garbage problems.
“Almost 9,700 complaints were solved, but I’m not satisfied. I want more people to file complaints so that BBMP can act,” he said.
DCM also mentioned that instructions were provided to install other supervisory cameras for monitoring waste disposal and imposing stiff fines for vehicles involved in the interpretation of public waste.
