Police are heading towards surgery against Narcotics in the limits of Kozhikode, described as one of the most difficult events that violated the chain of the usual perpetrators in illegal trade. They said that the detention period can be further extended on the basis of reviews of a specially established State Advisory Board, led by the judge of the High Court.
“Commands on the remaining 30 cases are still under the assessment of the domestic department. Since special units continue to work extensively to identify more such suspects, the number may further increase,” said the head officer of the special action forces of the district anti-barrothy. He added that all police districts maintain similar lists waiting for the event from the home department.
In the last seven months, the city police have failed illegally accumulated assets – including vehicles and other real estate – one of the 10 drug promoters that were previously arrested in the main cases of synthetic drug trafficking. Their bank accounts were also frozen after strict measures taken with the consent of the competent authority under the Act on Smugglers and Foreign Manipulators (forfeiture of assets) of 1976.
