Drug dealer held in Bengaluru; MDMA, ganja seized
12 grams of MDMA and 200 grams of ganja with an aggregate value of around ₹ 1.30 lakh were seized.
KJ Halli police arrested a person from Kannur in Kerala for allegedly selling banned narcotics and recovered 12 grams of MDMA and 200 grams of ganja with a combined value of around ₹ 1.30 lakh.
The police identified the accused as Raheem, a native of Kannur district. Acting on a tip-off, the police nabbed him on September 27 near Ramadeva Garden near Kacharakanahalli Lake when he was allegedly selling drugs.
During interrogation, the accused allegedly told the police that he bought the drugs at a low price from an unknown person and sold them to the public for profit. The police seized the narcotic substances and registered the case under the relevant provisions of the NDPS Act.
