The first meeting with the Consulting Committee for Railways (DRUCC) for the period 2024–26 held here on Tuesday focused mainly on improving railway services, increasing the number of passenger trains, establishing new platforms, ensuring the right drinking water facilities, toilets and other public services.
Meeting chairman of Sudeshna Dream, DRM and chairman of DRUCC, which took place in the conference hall Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Rail Vikas Bhavan, aimed at a number of questions raised by members of the committee. Key topics included improving passenger equipment such as indication boards for coaches at various stations in the Guntur division, introducing new trains, demand for train stops, changes in train timing, and bridge -related matters (Robs) and roads under the bridges.
The Mrs. Dream reported the assembly of the ongoing development works of the AMRIT station in the division and noted that in the Nandyal-Nallapad section of doubling and expansion work with planned increased equipment.
Member of the DRUCC GV Narayan Reddy was looking for an expansion of the services of Guntur-Tirupati to Arunachalam in favor of the devotees. Officials said they would discuss this matter with the Guntakal Division, because the section from Tirupati to Arnachalam falls under their jurisdiction.
RK Narasimham wanted the Guntur-Aurangabad train to escape to Nagarsole and Shirdinagar. For this reason, the officials reported that they would discuss the Nanded Division authorities.

DRUCC members also showed several other proposals.
While the branch officers dealt with questions about their jurisdiction, matters outside the divisional power were recommended for escalation to the railway headquarters.
DRUCC members were elected GV Narayan Reddy as a representative of the zone from this division. K. Simon, other DRM and other officials were present.
