
The collector of the district of Eluru K. Vetriselvi on Wednesday (May 7) stated that drones can increase agriculture productivity and reduce costs, and the government focuses on the use of drone technology to support farmers. She spoke here in the program of awareness.
Mrs. Vetriselvi said that agricultural groups and organizers of farmers (FPO) producers may apply for drones under a subsidy (up to 50%). In the first phase, the government assigned a district of 40 drones to be distributed to 27 mandals. For this purpose, the villages were organized in clusters of 10 to 15.
