Police arrested the driver and his close associates for the alleged theft of CRORE 2.10 GBP from the entrepreneur.
Nellore Town DSP Sindu Priya, who addressed a press conference on Tuesday, said the main accused Mahesh Naik had worked as a driver with K. Kondand Rami Reddy in Balaji Nagar in the last four years and reportedly stole his cash on 18 September.
Under the supervision of Nellore Town DSP Sindu Priya and rural DSP G. Srinivasa Rao, Balaji Nagar Police Station Circle Inspector (CI) K. Samba Siva Rao and Station Central Crime Station (CCS) CI Ashok Kumar created two special teams. With the help of technology, police teams caught the accused, his father Som Naik and his friends Sann Naik Ramesh and Basavaraj Bharath. Police teams won CRORE 2.06 GBP and confiscated two cars.
