
Delhi: When the main capital is preparing for celebrations of independence on the celebrations of Independence, Delhi Traffic Police issued a detailed advice for August 15 and stored a wide range of traffic restrictions throughout the city.
Limiting traffic in Delhi will apply from 4:00 to 10:00, and the public was recommended to plan travel, avoid affected sections and use public transport wherever possible, the officials said on Thursday.
Which roads will be closed?
Here is a detailed list of all roads that would be closed to the general public from 4:00 to 10:00:
- NEJEJI SUBHASH Marg from Delhi Gate to Chatta Rail,
- Lothian Road from GPO Delhi to Cotta Rail,
- SP MUKHERJEE Marg from HC Sen Marg to Yamuna bazaar chowk,
- Chandni Chowk Road from Fountain Chowk to Red Fort,
- Nisad Raj Marg from Ring Road on Netjeji Subhash Marg
Restrictions of vehicle parking
Commuting without parking labels for independence and celebration tests was recommended that they would avoid several roads within limited hours. It belongs to:
- Mathura Road,
- Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg,
- The Subhash Marg,
- Jawaharlal nezru marg,
- And circular road between Nizamuddin Khatta and ISBT Kašmere Gate.
Other roads that may be affected
According to Police Counseling in Delhi, other affected sections are Esplanade Road, a circular road near Rajghat and Shanti van and Ring Road road to Salima Garha.
The restrictions will also be placed around a circular road from the Subhash park to ISBT Kašmere Gate and Mahatma Gandhi Marg from Ring Road on Netaji Subhash Marg.
Only vehicles with authorized labels or passages will be allowed to the limited zone.
What are the alternative routes?
As an alternative route for traveling between the northern and southern parts of the city during limited hours, people were advised to use designated alternative routes.
