The nine-year-old cricketer from England pulled off a rare performance during a local match when he took six wickets in six balls, leaving his teammates, family and coaches to celebrate his achievement.Rohan, who plays for Great Shelford Cricket Club’s under-nines team near Cambridge, completed a double hat-trick against Histon on Sunday, the BBC reported.The young bowler dismissed six batters in six consecutive deliveries to finish with figures of 6 for 0. His spell helped Great Shelford secure a 26-run victory.Rohan said the celebrations after his last wicket were unforgettable.“It was very loud,” he said, as quoted by the BBC, recalling how everyone cheered and ran onto the pitch after the last goal.For his performance, Rohan received a match point and was named man of the match. The youngster said he plays cricket for both his school team and Great Shelford.Speaking about six wickets in six balls, he added: “It rarely happens.”His father Narain said watching his son achieve success on Father’s Day made the occasion even more special.“Getting one wicket is a big achievement for someone so young, but wicket after wicket I was so proud,” Narain said in an interview with the BBC.Team coach and match referee Vishal Gupta said he had a perfect view of the spell.“I had the best seat in the house,” Gupta said. “I took off my umpire hat and blew it up with his team. Everyone clapped for that.”
