The State Minister of Trade Unions for Internal Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar accused current and previous ruling parties who looked at a 12% share of Muslim voice, taking the Hindu community for granted.

Minister on Sunday Kurmaguda, Madannapet, Rakshapuram, Gowlipura, Akkanna Madanna and Haribowli on Sunday at Lal Darwaza addressed a large gathering in the Simhavahini temple.
He said that only the BJP government will change this reality. “We are those who pay taxes. We are those who pay the bills. We are those who fill in the treasury. Why should we be in a drinking state where we have to pursue each year for funds for our temples and bonal?”
“If the BJP in Telangana gets to power, the Hinda no longer have to” ask “for funds for temples or festivals,” he said, saying that all Hindu festivals will be assigned a reserved fund.
Mr. Sanjay also said that the Hindes, who left the old town because of “terrorist bombings and jihad gangs”, should now return without fear. “The old city belongs to everyone and it is a government responsibility for protection to all”.
He said that there was a visible change around Bhaggyalakshmi near Charminar in the atmosphere of Bhaggyalakshmi, which became a symbol of the Hindu recovery in Hyderabad. “There was a time when people feared they were wearing bindi or holding a saffron flag near Charminar,” he said.
