Congress Head and Congress Committee of Telangana Pradesh Working President T. Jayaprakash Reddy asked if Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) K. Chandrasekhar Rao still appreciated his own words and reminded him that he once described Sonii Gandhi as the “goddess”.
“You have acknowledged her role in the Thelangana formation and that it would not be possible without her support. Now you reduce your own value by calling Sonii and Rahul as a duplicate Gandhis,” Mr.Reddy said, condemning Mr. Ra’s notes to varangal meetings as “incomprehensible”.
On Monday, he addressed a press conference in Gandhi Bhavan on Monday and demanded an unconditional apology to Mr. Rao. He also advised him not to slip to such irresponsible and small comments, especially after enjoying the support of the Gandh family for decades.
The triple Mla claimed that without the support of congress command, Mr. Merao’s starvation would not succeed. “I just mention the facts and I don’t criticize,” he explained. He also claimed that the Thelangany process began only after Rahul Gandhi defended for it.
He said that the only family in politics with ethics was the Gandhi family and claimed that it was Mr. Panrao who sent money to Delhi, Odisha, Pandjab, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu to strengthen his political network.
