US President Donald Trump has again criticized the judge to stop the efforts to deport migrants of his administration and claim that the US legal system is not equipped to give every migrant proper process.
“I hope we get cooperation from the courts, because, as you know, we have thousands of people ready to go out and you can’t have a court for all these people,” Trump said on Tuesday (April 22) in the White House.
“The system was not meant” for bulk experiments, added and prevented a wide interpretation of the immigration right of its administration.
Criticizing the proper process for migrants
Trump responded to a recent court decision that blocked immediate deportation of migrants, including one federal judge in New York. These decisions require the government to provide a proper process before removal.
“We get a few very bad people, killers, murderers, drug merchants, really bad people, mentally ill, mentally crazy,” Trump said.
“And the judge cannot say that no, you must have a court that allows – the court will take two years. We will have a very dangerous country if we are not allowed to do what we are entitled. And I won the elections based on the fact that we will get them out.”
Contempt for charges of igored court order
On April 16, the US district judge James Boasberg found a “probable cause” in Washington to keep Trump’s officials in criminal contempt for defiance of March 15, who stopped the deportation of Venezuelan migrants accused of gangs.
The judge stated that officials have shown “deliberate ignorance” as court instructions. The decision followed after the deportation of the alleged members of Tren de Aragua, the Venezuelan gang, under the Act on Extraterrestrial Hostoral Laws of 1798.
Attorneys and family members claim that many deported were not members of the gangs and were denied a chance to challenge their removal.
The Supreme Court will stop the war deportation of the law
In an emergency decision 7–2 issued shortly after midnight 19th April, the US Supreme Court temporarily blocked Trump’s administration of the use of the Law on Extraterrestrial Hostoral Laws on the deportation of Venezuelan detainees.
“The government is ordered not to remove any member of the alleged class detained from the United States until the next order of this court,” the order said.
The Federal Judge in Colorado added to the legal obstacles 22nd April that the administration must withhold Venezuelan migrants at least 21 days before any deportation under the Act on Extraterrestrial Hostility. The decision also orders that migrants be informed of their right to attack their removal.
