
US President Donald Trump confirmed that he would start sending the first letters about tariffs and business agreements on Monday before the deadline for suspended fees.
“I am pleased to announce that tariff letters of the United States and/or agreements with different countries from around the world will be delivered from 12:00 (eastern) on Monday, July 7,” Trump said on his Sunday social network.
So far, Washington has only completed the agreements with the United Kingdom and Vietnam, and at the same time achieved a temporary agreement with China to reduce exceptionally high tariffs on the other goods.

Trump said he was planning to send letters of notification “12, maybe 15” on Monday, PTI reported.
He added, “I think we will make most countries, either a letter or an agreement by July 9,” he notes that some agreements have already been achieved.
US Trade Minister Howard Lutnick confirmed that the new tariffs would be reflected in August 1, but refused the idea that the date was the tactics of delay, AFP reported.

“The president is setting rates and shops right now,” Lutnick said.
The leader Bessnt also rejected the suggestions that 1 August called the new term. “This is not a new term. We say it is when it is happening. If you want to speed up things, go ahead. If you want to stick to old rates, it is your decision,” he explained, as AFP says.
Bessnt noted that the strategy is to apply “maximum pressure”, and as an example of a negotiating partner who now initiates the initial reluctance of significant progress.

Yet it persisted between several countries. Japanese Prime Minister Shiger Ishiba said on Sunday that he would not “compromise” in business interviews with Washington.
Meanwhile, BRICS leaders representing the rapidly growing economies, such as Brazil, Russia, India and China, Rio de Janeiro, expressed “serious concerns” about what they described as “indiscriminate” and potentially unlawful import tariffs.

In response that Trump has appeared on BRICS and warned: “Every country that will deal with anti -American BRICS policies will be charged another 10% tariff. There will be no exceptions to this policy.”
