US President Donald Trump signaled that he was open to reconciliation with Elon Musk, although a technical billionaire is not on the peak of his mind because he focuses on national priorities.
Trump, who spoke of the debut episode under Force One with the journalist New York Post Miranda Devine, said, “Look, I have no hard feelings. I was really surprised that it happened … I think he feels very bad, actually he said.”
Trump, 78, said he did not blame Muska for the recent tribe, but added, “I was a little disappointed.”
Trump on Musk: “This is what that is”
The former allies dropped out after Musk attacked “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” GOP, a large tax plan and expenses Trump fought. Musk, 53, called it “pork full” and “disgusting abomination”.
“I think I could (correct things with him),” Trump said, “but we have to straighten the country … And my only function is now getting this country back to a level higher than ever. And I think we can.”
