
Gala Met, often considered the simplest night in fashion, will return on the first Monday of May – this year falls on 5 May. But not all known faces are decorated with a red carpet at the costume institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, at Manhattan, New York, New York.
Some former participants were reportedly omitted from the list of guests for various reasons, including US President Donald Trump and the first lady of American Melania Trump.

According to Media, at the episode of the late late show with James Corden in 2017, the host James Corden asked the editor -in -chief, the global editorial director Anna Wintour, who would never invite a guest who would never invite back to Met Gala. Wintour replied, “Donald Trump.”
Donald and Melania Trump were once a frequent metal gala guests, and Trump even suggested to her. Her answer met with a loud applause of the audience to which Corden replied, “That’s a great answer.”
Ivanka Trump has not appeared on Met Gala Red Carpet since 2016, a year before Anna Wintour publicly said that she would not invite Donald Trump back.
The Independent reported that other celebrities, which are expected to be unofficially banned, include actress Riverdale Lili Reinhart, who publicly criticized the extreme Kim Kardashian diet to fit in Marilyn Monroe’s dresses for the previous Met Gala. In an interview with W, Reinhart, he admitted, “I don’t think I’ll be invited.”

The fashion commentator Tim Gunn also claimed that he was on a blacklist after a narration of the incident, when Wintour was transferred by five staircases by two bodyguards – Anecdota, which allegedly triggered a continuing dispute.
