
US President Donald Trump announced on Monday, 12 May that the US government would reduce prescription drugs by 59 %, one day after announced a new American pharmaceutical policy.
On Sunday, President Trump announced that he is planning to sign an executive order that will reduce the US prescription drug price.
“Prices of drugs to be reduced by 59%, plus! Gasoline, energy, food and all other costs, no. No inflation !!! Love, DJt,” Donald Trump said in his contribution to Truth Social.
Trump’s powerful Pharma command
US President Donald Trump said that on Monday, May 12, he would sign an executive order at 9:00, which will make a new US pharmaceutical policy.
According to AFP AFP report, US drug prices were set to reduce between 30 and 80 %, as Trump plans to introduce the policy of the “most popular nations” that will bring drugs sold in the United States to the lowest price paid by other nations for the same drug.
