A 35 -year -old man reportedly killed his wife and later ended his life in Kelakaympatti near Alangudi, allegedly after a domestic dispute.
The dead were identified as Veeramuth and his wife Rajeswari, 28 years, both daily construction workers. Police sources said the couple often argued about personal matters. On Friday evening a couple left their three children in the care of Rajeswari’s mother Lakhsmi and went to watch a game that took place in the Vinaayagar Temple in the village of Kallupallam.
When Mrs. Lakshmi went to her daughter’s house around 8 am on Saturday, she found that Rajeswari was dead inside the neck injury. And in the porch Mrs. Lakshmi found Veeramuth dead. The police suspect that the man could end his life after the murder of Rajeswarai.
Both bodies were sent for a postmort test and the case was registered at the police station of the sammatti viduthi.
