Former Minister and BJP MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi, who is considered a member of the Yatnal’s Rebels in BJP, said on Monday in Belagavi that he did not support some statements by Basanagoud Patil Yatnal, which was suspended from BJP for Indiscipline.
“For example, Mr. Yatnal should not call Vijayendra an open challenge to resign to his membership in the legislative assembly. That’s bad. I don’t support it,” Jarkiholi told reporters. “He should not talk about several things, including the selection of the Chief Minister of BJP. National questions should be left to national leaders. Mr. Yatnal should understand it,” he said.
He said Mr. Yatnal was very much in his team and has the support of team members.
“We are trying to bring him back to BJP. Leaders like GM Siddeshwara, BP Harish, Kumar Bangarappa, and we are constantly touching it. We can’t.
He responded to the news that Mr. Yatnal with his colleagues BJP had avoided him because they hadn’t seen him with him during his recent tour. “I was supposed to go to Hubball yesterday. But I couldn’t go because I had a program in Gokak. That doesn’t mean we’re not with Mr. Yatnal,” he said.
“We recommend Mr. Yatnal not to abuse the leader or act so that the BJP is to disappear. We ask him to focus on organization and development. We still advise him not to make a embarrassing statement against BJP leaders, but he does not follow,”
“Several times what he says is twisted and people perceive it differently. Therefore, they must be careful.
“Mr. Yatnal will be read BJP. We will keep him. Maybe he suffered injustice in the hands of some local leaders, but the national leaders will ensure justice for him. I’m sure,” Mr. Jarkiholi said.
