
On Monday, the Supreme Court issued a notice to the center and other relevant parties in response to a petition that was looking for a directive to take the relevant measures to disable the streaming of sexually explicit content on OTT and social media platforms, PTI reported.
As stated, the Supreme Court issued the Center, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Ull, Altt, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and others based on the direction of seeking the center to take appropriate steps to disable obscene content on OTT and social media.
“You should do something about it,” SC said, adding that the accusation was made, that we were interfering with the executive area, and reported.
The Justices Benka Gavai and Augustine George Masih said the petition caused an important problem and the problem was in the area of the executive or the legislature, PTI said.
“As it is, there are accusations that we interfere with the legislative choir and executive power,” Gavai said.

The bench urged the general attorney Tushar Mehta, represented the center to take steps to worry about the petition. Mehta reported the court that there were already certain regulations while further measures were considered.
