Tirumal Tirupati, Devasthanams (TTD) BR NAID, appealed to the media to use confidentiality and at the same time to cover and provide a platform for those who broadcast negative and unfounded criticism against the sacred temple.
Mr. Naida started the reconstructed Tirupati Press Club on Thursday. MLA Arani Srinivasulu, Collector S. Venkateswar, Tirupati Urban Development Authority (Tuda) C. Divatives Reddy Pradesh (SAAP) A. Ravi Naidu and member of TTD Trust Board G. Bhanuprakash Reddy.
It was in this background that Mr. Naidu made a serious observation of the trend of media coverage and “a sense of caution had to be done” before becoming a medium for such “negative publicity” against the temple.
Mr. Naida’s reaction came as a result of a number of accusations, albeit unfounded, regularly accumulated against the leadership of the opposition party leaders, in an apparent effort to embarrass the state government.
“Everything Tirupati is today is due to Lord Venkateswar. I invite you not to play in the hands of the negative forces that try to use you as a platform to accumulate unfounded accusations of Male Fideo against TTD, which is Lord Venkates’ guardian,” he said.
