
The Minister for Housing and Information and Public Relations Kollus PARTHASARADHI said that within the NTR Bharosa system, it pays 2,712 Crore GBP to 65 lakhs every month. Only in the district of Eluru 113 crore is distributed to 2.58 lakh people, he said.
On Saturday (May 31), the Minister carried out a surprising inspection of NTR Bharosa pensions in Agiripalli in the Nuzvid election district. He visited the homes of some recipients, communicated with his family members and handed over the amounts of pension.
On this occasion he said that Andhra Pradesh is the only state in a country that provides social security pensions on such a large scale, with thousands of Crores. He mentioned that Andhra Pradesh spends 33,600 GBP Crore annually on social pensions within the NTR Bharosa system. He noted that in Agiripalli Mandala itself, 41,29,950 GBP were paid to 9,425 recipients.
Despite the demanding financial situation of the state, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naida manages administration effectively with its huge experience and gives the highest priority of the poor of the poor, the minister said.
He stressed that, unlike the previous government, which lasted five years to raise the amount of pension from 2,000 to 3,000 GBP, the current government increased the pension from the RS. 3,000 to 4,000 RS within just 10 days of receipt to power.
He made sure that pensions are delivered to recipients at their threshold after 1 month. If the recipient is not available, the amount will be delivered to the 2nd place. Since June 1, it is falling on Sunday, the government ensured that pensions were distributed the day in advance.
The minister said it reflects the honest commitment of the government to the poor. The Government provides seniors of 4,000 GBP, 6,000 GBP per 10,000 GBP patients suffering from kidneys and other chronic diseases, and 15,000 GBP of individuals, as promised by the main minister who costs such families at the time of need.
