The mayor has turned the road into a Thrissur City to a death trap and is now waiting for the President of the District Congress (DCC) to say that another tragedy will appear.
When he held the mayor and corporation officials directly responsible for the tragic death of Vishnudath in Kottappuram, he demanded that the case of murdered murder be registered against them.
Mr. Tanet, who spoke on a protest march issued by the Thrissur Block Congress Committee, said Congress has repeatedly raised concerns about the pitiful state of the roads, both in and outside the council. However, he added shocking apathy and arrogance.
The march was eliminated by the mayor’s resignation and claimed that recent death was caused by the inactivity of the civic body. The event was chaired by Congress President Francis Challissery.
