Basava Kendra of Gokul Road in Hubball will organize a number of discourse at various Sharanas in the 12th century to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of the social reformer and the cultural icon of the state of Basavanna (Basaveshware) beginning Sunday.
President Basava Kendra, who addressed Prespersons along with other office wearers, said discourse on various Sharanaty would take place at the Basava School in the Morary Nagar in Hubball in April 30.
He said that Kendra worked with different community organizations to organize interviews at Sharanas 12th Century (Vachanakaras) Kakkayyya, Gollalesha, Ambigar Chowdayy, Havinala Kallayya and Medar Ketayya.
Along with the discourse, the celebrations of the birth of the relevant Sharanas will also be held, he said.
