The Minister of General Education V. Sivankutty introduced the dismantling of old structures on school campuses.
School buildings on a melody of 5,000 GBP crore were built in government and helping schools using different means. Although classes began in these new structures, old buildings remained on many school campuses. Some of these structures were more than a century old, the statement quoted the minister said on Thursday.
To dismantle old buildings, suppliers must win offers and remove materials from the web. However, some local bodies have set large amounts for this. This created obstacles to the dismantling of old school buildings in various places.
The steps should be subjected to the law so that old structures can be dismantled without delay. If it fails, the structures will collapse. Those who touched should take urgent measures in this matter. In addition to local authorities, people in this respect should also be alert, the minister said.
